Bruce. No more than 3 grams free lift. But if using two Mylars you can use 3 grams of free lift each. I have never tried to do a Mylar 36-inch with that heavy of a payload. My heaviest successful

Re: 360 Balloon Launch
I flew a GoPro Fusion on Saturday and have about 150GB of footage... it certainly is a lot to process :) I'll see if I can cut it down and get something online soon.

Re: 360 Balloon Launch
The problem I foresee is having a PC powerful enough to stitch the video in a reasonable amount of time.

Great stuff. I'll be watching.
Weather (and forest fire smoke) permitting we're going to fly SABRE-27 next weekend. Nothing special. Just a traditional camera payload.

Hi Paul
You had me all worked up for a minute thinking you had flown a 360 degree camera.
Very interesting though.

Re: Collision video
I think it's more startling that we filled two separate balloons with very different weights (ours was ~2 lbs, theirs was at least 5) and managed to hit almost exactly the same ascent rate, drift some

Re: Collision video
Isn't that incredibly interesting.
Has anyone have any idea why the two balloons would be moving so differently in the same air mass?
