Gang,
I realize I was remiss in sending a final follow-up of this flight. The Alpha Cubesat team put together a fantastic 7 minute video discussing their project, and our flight last October.

This year's GPSL
Are there any plans yet for GPSL? I know the planned host Brian Tanner of Spaceport passed away so that certainly put things up in the air. It also looks like Covid MIGHT give us a break this summer

Habhub grabs the data for the entire earth 4 times a day. That has a 1 degree resolution. Then they interpolate between time, altitude, long, and lat to come up with the wind at the current balloon

I tried that one, it seems to work,
almost seems too simple!
I guess from the launch location, it is smart enough to know what sonde data to grab?

I find this on-line prediction to be somewhat reasonable when it comes to Radiosondes.

Back in my day, you had to lay on the lawn with your yagi sweeping the sky for the signal, and then use RDF techniques to chase down the payload. (Do I sound like one of those old timer ham radio guys
