Re: Helium loss
If I remember correctly Hi Float is just HE and air , nothing special. so the HE will still escape just as fast and left with an envelope filled with air.

Hi Steve, thanks for the information! That's an interesting suggestion about Hifloat -- it looks like it could make a significant difference.

Looks familiar. Just another toy to distract me and take my money.
But I can chase and recover payloads while letting someone else pay to send them up!

That looks like it might have been the one.
I was busy setting up and launching a balloon when I saw the device. Didn’t get a good look at it.
I could have spent a long time trying to find it as

As linked in the other thread: https://github.com/dl9rdz/rdz_ttgo_sonde
Also worth noting that rdz_ttgo_sonde will contribute data to the SondeHub radiosonde tracker (https://tracker.sondehub.org/),

You are thinking of a TTGO, not an Arduino.
Refer here for information on the firmware that would have been running on it: https://github.com/dl9rdz/rdz_ttgo_sonde

Just 3 minutes to go. 2 minutes and holding now.
I hate having these precious small sats having to go with a beginner rocket company whose only other launch ended in disaster.
