NEWINGTON, CT, Jun 13, 2002--If all goes as planned, a group of Amateur
Radio operators and amateur rocket enthusiasts will make aerospace history this month by putting the first amateur rocket into space. If the attempt succeeds, the suborbital vehicle will carry its Amateur Radio payloads to an altitude of more than 60 nautical miles. http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2002/06/13/4/?nc=1 "Spaceshot 2001" / Spaceshot 2002 Update Page Record-setting September 29, 2000 initial test flight http://www.remarkable.com/rocket/ TNX es 73 de Ralph Wallio, W0RPK wallio@crosspaths.net http://members.crosspaths.net/wallio Defect prevention is better than cure
