December 2020 DMR Net Results

GBARC tests our ability to communicate via DMR in a variety of configurations.  Not all members are DMR capable but those who can check in starting on TAC-1.  This month our net control was Shawn NR1T who was operating from his QTH in Trumbull (near the Merritt Parkway.  Our December results were as follows:

* Station required relay to reach Net Control

Notes:

1)  It was clear VHF Simplex is more advantageous than UHF Simplex

2)  After the net N1DID and NT1R used TAC-11 (TG-8909/TS-1)

3) Foliage and WX conditions were as follows:

Temperature: -4C

Sky: Clear

Foliage: Bare
