One last elementary-level question concerning ACL operations.  The railroad seems to have avoided the use of Manual Block entirely.  There is no mention of MBS in the 1949 timetable, that I could see.  It looks like Timetable and Trainorder operation, or some form of ABS, and the ABS seems to be in the form of APB on single track applications, Rule 251-current of traffic authority on double track, and Rule 261-type CTC on either.  No MBS.  Ever?
