F.E.C. in Classic Trains winter 2008 issue
The article "Diesels South", about a 1962 railfan road trip through the southeastern U.S. has several photographs of the F.E.C. that may be of interest: freight train outside of New Smyrna Beach, 3 BL-2's in the St. Augustine shop and #602 outside, SW9 #228, GP7 # 621. F.E.C. locomotives shwin in red and yellow "interim" color scheme. There also were 2 shots of Jacksonville Terminal switchers and some from other rr's such as the Georgia & Florida. I have not yet read the article.
There is also an article "On Day at Sanford, Fla.: which is about the Auto-Train, an article on the K.C.S. Southern Belle and some other fun things.
