Flicka for sale
Charlie Lewis
I need to sell my 79 Flicka. She's in the water in Everett and does come with the trailer. She has complete set of tan bark sails. Light air to fill on storm. and a Spinnaker. New rigging sense 2011. It's a cutter rig. Has a new sailpro 6 outboard an batteries. fresh bottom paint had an inboard but it's gone but shaft is still there u could go there is wanted.. I bought a brand new staysail and the way that it was cut makes her point really well. She sails wonderful She has a Wallas 1300 heater new as of this yr and a windpilot also new as of this year. She has a BBQ and lots of little goodies like a sextent hand Held compass and depth finder and kerosene anchoring light. She has a wench on the cabin top and one on the mast. It's honestly to much to list all the extras. . I'd like to get $24k. Including an inflatable w 2 running motors 2and -6hp if your interested please call me. 425 931 9374.

I'm sorry you have to sell her. I'm sure that was a tough decision.
We have a friend who may be interested. I'll pass the info along. Is there a page where he can see photos of her? Thank you. Noreen Light SV Sweethaven

Charlie,
Did you sell the Flicka yet? My interest is in the Windpilot and am curious if you would sell that alone. Thanks. Josh, Sampaguita, #317, Port Townsend.

Hi Charlie:
Is your Flicka still available? I'm very interested!! I'm located in So. CA. and missed the chance to purchase on here in Long Beach, CA. for a very good price. Anyway... I you have some photos to send; please email to me? christostevenson@... Is the trailer road worthy? I'd have to get someone to drive it down or I'll rent a truck for towing... Thanks, Christopher Stevenson

If you missed Red Rascal you really did miss one. If you’re looking, I have a Flicka for sale in La Paz, Baja Ca. Not an inboard and no enclosed head but a 1979 PS Flicka Ginger

You might check also on the Flicka20 group on Facebook. Another good source with many Flicka owners. Russell s/v Wren #089

Hi Ginger: Thanks for the offer. Looks like there's one in my So. CA. area in Long Beach. Checking it out this weekend.
If it doesn't go thru I'll take a look and see about yours. La Paz is a bit of a ways ... but a fun place to sail and live. Do you stay there year round? Are there retired sailors living on their boats in La Paz? I suspect so. -- Christopher S.

I have an offer and have countered. We’ll see how that goes. Her place in Marina de La Paz is paid for through October so I’m not in a hurry. I used to drive down to the boat a couple of times a year. Beautiful drive down the Baja Peninsula. And, yes, there is a large multi-national ex-pat contingent living on their boats there. Also a large number of transient sailors using La Paz as a take-off point to explore the beautiful Sea of Cortez. One of my favorite towns. Not practical to do the drive anymore since I moved from Palos Verdes to South Carolina. Ginger

Good luck. Hope it sells. My brother just moved to N.C. It is very green and pretty in these parts.. but humid and sticky. Cheers… Christopher

The weather is not southern Ca but neither are the taxes and prices. And the sun here is amazing—like So.Cal! (and water here flows freely) My boat in LaPaz sold, thank you. (at least verbally) Now to decide whether to sell my other Flicka in Clear Lake, Tx or to keep it and bring it to S.C. via the inter coastal waterway. Good luck on your search for your own Flicka. Hi Ginger! Did you sell Corsair, or did you have two Flicka's at the same time? Just curious. I loved that boat. I would like to follow it wherever it goes if possible! Thank you, and I wish you calm seas and brisk wind! Best Regards, Michael **********************************************************************************************************

Hello Ginger,
I live in Rancho Palos Verdes, but if I lived in NC with a boat in TX, I would definitely try to intercoastal it home. Sounds like a great adventure!

I had two Flickas and if this sale goes through, I’ll be back to having only Corsair—your former Flicka, in Clear Lake, Tx Ginger

That’s exactly my thought. I think it would be a fine adventure, indeed.

Thank you, Ginger. I appreciate you keeping me posted! Michael P.S. Did I ever tell you that I had the hull lay-up reinforced with an extra layer of mat & roving before finishing the boat. It just might be the strongest Flicka out there! ***********************************************************************************************************************************
