Interesting, I have not seen them irrigated, only vented. I have a PYI dripless shaft seal on my boat now and there is a vent to get any air out but it just goes up above the sea level. I think that's

Before questioning the PSS, are you sure everything else is ‘free flowing’ e.g. the heat exchanger, raw water intake (strainer if installed), etc.? Impeller in adequate shape?

Woody’s right: flying an asymmetrical on a Flicka is a blast. I had ATN in Florida make up the snuffer; you can have the continuous line made to any length, and I’d suggest you consider leading it

Same here. Sock and a long pendant made from a climbing runner (sewn loop) girth hitched to block on one end and to the sprit on other. The spin has a pendant as well so even tho runner is aft of

I rigged an asymmetrical on “Jubilee”, a late PSC Flicka that I sailed from South Carolina to Nova Scotia in 2010. Here’s what I did:

An asymmetrical spinnaker, also referred to as a cruising spinnaker is usually tacked to the bow in front of the headstay and hoisted up on the spare halyard. There are.port and starboard sheet lines

The ratchet stay does not have rough edges (I do not know the name in English) it is not far below the double backstay of the mast, the root is right in the stem and is fixed with a buffer without

I would never consider going anywhere without paper charts ready to use and stored in a convenient place. I also would be certain I knew how to navigate using them. Maybe it's because I'm so old but
