I'm a fine art photographer and built my first darkroom in 1957. Currently, I have over 60 works in the permanent collections of museums and foundations around the world, including The Crocker Art Museum, The Triton Museum of Art, The Community Hospital Foundation of Monterey, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
My photos have appeared in books and national magazines, and in various galleries, including the Center for Photographic Art (where I also teach and provide reviews.) I have recently had a solo exhibit at The Triton Museum of Art, in Santa Clara, CA. I'm a past instructor of photography in the graduate school at Academy of Art University. You can learn more and find my current shows at www.valleau.art .
These days, I often speak on photography, review portfolios, and teach, and judge photo contests now and then.
Outside of photography, my past clients for various services have included National Geographic, McGraw-Hill, Sony, Disney, Silicon Graphics, Apple, DoubleTree Hotel, SubRosaSoft, Marbett, Jasmine.
Specialties: besides photography, it's video editing and website design. I also have several apps in the iTunes store. I have recently edited a film on the color work of Wynn Bullock.
