Correct, Lou. But most books say a conventional dipole is about 73 ohms. Had already installed my antenna and read that a folded dipole (two wires on each leg) has 4 times the impedance or ~300 ohms.

I believe when you press and hold the Tune button, it actively tunes. When it is lit it is in circuit on last setting. When it is not lit it is bypassed for an external tuner. -- Barry Jacobson WA2VIU
