I use SDR Console with the FTDX101 along with a SDRPlay RSP1 connected to the rx out on the rig. The whole setup works with Omnirig, my logging, WSJT and whatever else I want to run. Can open 4

Angel,
I plug a monitor and mouse into the radio, and use that as a panadapter. No need for a computer and software. To me, that was one of the benefits to this radio.

I’m using SDR Console v3 with OmniRig on my FTDX-101D to allow me point and click freq changes, mouse scroll and the much nicer spectrum/waterfall/pana display from my SDRC V3 / Hermes Lite 2 - fed

I would suggest you to download Yaesu Ftdx101 literature from files including the block diagram from their site and you will get all your answers.

Not sure there is such thing as an "optimum" DNR setting. It would all depend upon YOUR conditions, noise levels, signal strengths, etc. I adjust mine quite often, depending upon conditions at the

I forgot to add that by doing that it makes it so much quieter. Normally on any other radio I would turn on and hear the noise and shut it back off because I don't want to hear it. With the 101d and

While the FTDX101 is marketed as a hybrid SDR, I believe this refers to the band spectrum display. There are some advantages to sound quality in analog receivers because the digitizing process

Don’t know about suggestions, but I do know it works, and I use it on 80 a lot. Watch the noise spikes move on the bandscope.

Be sure the mic is set to rear. Sometimes I change back to front and forget, and no power out.

Look at program settings the audio, soundcard In-Out !!!!
For some reason sometimes the windows go to the default sound card.
