Thanks for the info. I have the S18 on its way. I will test it when it gets here, then send in the SDA 100 for an update as required.
Quick service?

Re: Diversity reception…just for fun
Actually, it is true diversity reception. You can separate the two receivers as John and I do, or you can use the menu and set to audio to feed both receivers into a mono audio line. That may be more

It could be; spatial diversity, frequency diversity, polarization diversity, phase diversity, etc.

You need 21-6018-01. I have downloaded the entire interface cable page for you as an image and attach it here - hope this helps.

Steppir and DSA 100 Controller
I have the SDA 100 Controller for a Steppir antenna.
I think I need a new Cable to connect to the FTdx101d.
Does anyone know which one, and if there are any other considerations?

I found yet another bug. Now when you print sheet labels, i.e. Avery 5160, you can no longer change the starting row or column. It always prints the 1st row, 1st column.
I've told tec. support about

Diversity reception…just for fun
I’m no longer a hardcore DXer or contest nut but have found two receivers very entertaining during my casual CW ragchews.
I use the ‘separate’ setting on my headphones and then sync Main and Sub

Re: Looking for headset w/boom mic.
IMHO, the Inrad headset is the best choice by far. I've owned them all. Heil sounds good but are poorly constructed. I would never by Heil again.

Re: Looking for headset w/boom mic.
I have one of the Radio Sport headsets with the boom mike. Very well built, it almost looks like a David Clark headset, and it's very comfortable.
Not cheap, but why cheap-out with a $4k radio.
