My advice is to stay away from those "Ham Headsets", very expensive bad sound, and not conformtable at all, mainly those "Helicopter/Pilot" style.
There are a couple of models, with a large time in the profesional market, very comfortable to use them during hours, fully serviceable, and top quality;
Best advice; pop in a audio/Pro audio store, try some of them, you will feel the difference straigh away.

I’m using an old Heil ProSet plus. Dual mikes in boom, an HC5 and an HC4. Washable ear covers. Comfortable and sounds good w/ HC5. Instead of buying adapter cord, I converted one I had in junk box to match this radio’s Mike plug pinout.
