Falmouth Slow Session FSS@groups.io

A Slow Session on the Upper Cape since 2010-10-25 (that evolved from the Pocasset Slow Session which began 2010-03-24).

All playing abilities are welcome, however these sessions are for playing with others and learning tunes, not learning how to play an instrument. Tunes (and tempo) are selected by those present, mostly Celtic, Old Time, and Waltzes. Bring your music stand if you want to use sheet music, some believe learning by ear is the only way - what works for you is right.

The group has occasionally played at nursing homes, fairs, and other celebrations as The Pine Street Pickers.
