Falmouth Fiddlers FF@groups.io

Group Description

We play and promote fiddle tunes and acoustic music around Cape Cod
Many of us met through our founder / leader, the late fiddler / luthier Jim Boyce, at a Falmouth Fiddlers' performance, his Falmouth Night School Fiddle Classes, by word of mouth, or chance, and/or were inspired by his former cable TV show "Fiddlin' in Falmouth"
We founded and sponsored the Cape Cod Fiddle Contest (1998-2003), and co-founded the Rochester (MA) Country Fair Fiddle Contest in 2004, usually the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of August. It may become the Rochester (MA) Country Fair Fiddle and Banjo Contest in 2020.
