Hi David, My PCT55 has the AC95 controller with RS422, running Win95.

I was wrong, apologies, I've just fired up the PC, it's Win98 (all XP reference were erroneous). Now powering up the PCT55 to see if it's fixed, hoping not to see any smoke.
