Hi Tim The Mill's a '97 iirc, I'm not really looking to sell it unless I can replace it! I'll be buying another PC from Emco in the near future and restoring it once I'm done with the big lathe. Thank

WinCam for AC88 controller needed
Not for the compact 5, but I can take code from the LinuxCNC post processor and hand edit it to work on Fanuc 0. It's slow going and tedious but perfectly usable with some time.

I think the problem is mechanical. If I take the tool turret off, I can see it turning in reverse and I get a "6040 Tool Turret Index Failure". If I put it on (even loosely), it indexes and then no to

Fanuc 0T and 0M WinNC software?
So I've managed to install everything I need except I need the machine data disk. Emco haven't responded to any of my recent emails. Is there another way to get hold of this? Thanks!

Thanks for clearing that up! I'll give that a go as soon as I've got the PC running. Currently waiting for a >66mhz processor to install Windows 98.
