Re: step problem

Hi. Piet

I sort'a blew it on this one the code need's to be.

When you turn on the machine it start's in INC mode g91.

G00 x0 z0
g01 x-5 z0 f50
g01 x0 z-3500 f50
g00 x5 z0
g00 x0 z3500
m30

The code I used was for ABS mode g90.

g92 x0 z0
g01 x-5 z0 f50
g01 x-5 z-3500 f50
g00 x0 z-3500
g00 x0 z0
m30

Sorry I made a mistake on this one.

The Good News is your machine is working ok.

3. If your trying to cut a cilinder dose this work ?

yes

when i program :
G00 x0 z0
g01 x-5 z0 f50
g01 x-5 z-3500 f50
g00 x0 z-3500
g00 x0 z0
m30

than everything works but by Go1 it moves x-5 then start to z-3500
after about z-500 the x goes 0.01mm to -x so at the end of z-3500 x
sould be x-5 but x is then x-12!!!!
so the problem is that the pulsen to the x are not stady so the
computer send about every 5mm travel in z one pulse to -x

the result is that the cilinder is trapped (and is for example 12
mm) the end is than not 12minus0.1=19.9 mm (SIE PROGRAM)
the end is than 12minus0.24=11.76 mm
every 5 mm is a trap of 0.01 mm
I hope this will clear things up.
