Hi John, Thanks for your message. I have a permanent PC in my workshop so its easy to use mfi. My problem is the fact I don't like things that don't work. As everything else now works I can now try the lathe. I have been giving some thought to using an arduino or a raspberry pi to store to a usb stick but it's only a thought. If I sort it I will write up what I find.
