K3 ANT to IF OUT Conversion Gain
Drew, I covered that in Slide 8 of the presentation. The SDR is always connected to the MAIN ANT via RX ANT OUT when RX ANT is enabled in the K3, regardless of which RX ANT you want the K3 to monitor.

K3 setting for FT8 with KIO3B
Also, don't forget to UNPLUG THE CABLE from the analog LINE IN port, which you may have left in place. Connecting anything to that connector will OVERRIDE the K3's USB LINE IN, and you'll get no audio

Long shot: In normal mode (not TEST mode), no power out can happen if CONFIG:TX INH is set to Lo=Inh instead of to the default: OFF. To check that CONFIG menu setting, first set CONFIG:TECH MD to ON.

The KEY OUT jack GROUNDS the center pin, whereas a shorted phono plug simply completes the DC relay circuit between shield and center (without grounding it). That's probably why it doesn't work. 73, B
