K3 Data TX filter
I didn't read anything about RTTY tones. Thought he was referring to low tones being easier to hear. This could be CW or perhaps another. In my earlier comment, I was thinking about FT-8 tones. Anyway

OY a bit--Freq accuracy?
I ordered my K3S with the "TCXO 1 ppm f/w correction to 0.5 ppm factory-installed" option. That was $369.95. Money well spent. My K3S had not been checked in some 60 days. I checked it today on 2.5, 5

OY a bit--Freq accuracy?
If one uses WSJT-X there is a Frequency Calibrate routine. It does an EXCELLENT job of determining just how much the radio is off frequency. It uses several of the WWV frequencies to check each band.
