I would second the suggestion to use mix31... I think Mouser is out of stock, as are most folks that sell for any reasonable price. Mouser, was selling for five or six bucks each.

Buy them direct from a distributor like Arrow and avoid the retail markups. Use Mix 31. You can use snap on beads for USB cables if large torioids are not convenient but always use at least a few

Try https://www.kitsandparts.com/ You might want to try both FT240-43 and FT 240-31 cores. I wind 17 turns of RG 400 coax on them. I have one at the antenna feed, one before coax enters my house and

Hi All,
Well, after experiencing the RFI problem, first time by the way, I am looking to buy some toroids to keep it from happening again.
Anyone have a good supplier for these?
Thanks in advance,

Re: FT8 Transmit Question
Larry,
I run my K3s in data mode for FT8.
Make sure you run width 2.7 to 3.0 khz bandwith on recieve. I usually adjust WSJT-X to start recieving above 350hz, as transmit filters cut off signal below

Check, then re-check your time sync. Even a second or two off, and you will not decode signals even though you can transmit (out of sync as well...)

I operate FT8 using DATA A mode.
When I am decoding FT8 I find I have the best results when the WSJT-X input graph to the left reads between 60dB and 70dB.
Mouse over this graph and it recommends
