I remember seeing a post in the elecraft reflector saying that it can
do conintuous duty around 120W due to the dual large fans...
Scan the reflector history to find that thread.

RTTY
I can't find a definite answer to whether or not the K3/100 will do 100w in RTTY mode. Or does the power have to be backed off? Can it do 100w throughout a contest weekend?

hams with real world operating experience designing rigs primarily for

Comparisons of K3 with Orion and Flex 5000
As a CW op, one parameter that worries me with the 'SDR' radios is the delay in the sidetone chain. This has been reported in a Peter Hart review in this months RSGB Radcom magazine as sometimes

It's been too long since I had to deal with analog microwave but
the situation is very similar. The total applied power would be
a good test.
The test could also be done with two tones
