I'm interested too. My Drake C-line from 1972 still operates FB, and I'm fully able to fix it when it dies. Folks with Collins S-lines also have forever radios. I doubt I can say that about my K3S. What attracted me to the K3S was the modularity - the idea that if something failed, you could swap out a board, or, if an improvement came along, you could swap in an improvement. (I thought I remembered reading that was the promise of the K3s Mixer PCB - it was replaceable as improvements became available. But I can't find that statement anywhere.)
