I am not sure where to post this question. I have K3s to KPA 1500 to remote antenna switches to various antennas.
Radio can be dead quiet, like not connected to an antenna. I touch the key to transmit and the band comes alive. I can wait a bit and it goes quiet again. Touch the key and back alive. As if there is a dirty contact somewhere on the antenna system (like a relay) that needs RF to make it work.
