Or you can just do the following:

1. Hold the BSET (A/B) button to go into B SET mode.
2. Hold the LOCK (RATE) button, just the same as you normally do to lock VFO A.
3. Tap A/B to return to normal operation.

The VFO B setting is now locked. To unlock it, repeat the same sequence of operations.
