Setting up a PF key to turn on/off split

I currently have PF1 set to turn on Split mode and PF2 to turn off Split mode.  Both work fine.  I am curious if a PF key can be set to toggle between the two, thus freeing PF2, for example, to do something else.

Current PF1:  SWT13;SWT13;FT1;UPB5;RT0;XT0;SB1;
Current PF2:  FT0;RT0;XT0;LN0;SW000;SB0;

Comments would be appreciated.
