I have a FDM-Duo wired into a Duo-Art 120 per the user manual.

A dummy load is connected to ant2 & a hexbeam to ant1.

Mem bank2 is set to the following:
Interface:FDMDUO
Band: 20M
PWRIn: 5.0
Att: 0
AmpEnable: On
Ant:2
Atu: On

FDM DUO:
#34 - TXOUT = 5Watts
#55 - Tune Pwr = 5Watts

During  tuning on 20M  into a dummy load I see max forward power ~ 5 watts ... as  expected.

But during cw transmit, still into the dummy load, I expect to see max forward pwr ~ 120 Watts. Instead I see ~ 5Watts

What am I missing?

I have resolved this. The PTT-In on the back of the DUO-Art was plugged in ... but not completely. You had  to look at it very  closely.

I must have looked at the wiring a dozen times over 2 days too! Hi!


I'll leave this post up as an example of how not to waste time.
