Some nice new features, but I got unhandled exceptions when I tried to set a 10 GHz transverter offset when saving to or opening the memory file. Program got into an endless loop and I had to stop the process to exit.  I'll document and report the exact issue if I get time.  For now, it is fine if I stick to an offset around 340 MHz instead of 10340 MHz, and the memories all work OK.  Usual error, value too large for a 32 bit variable if the tune frequency including offset exceeds the 2.147 GHz range of a signed 32-bit number.

I have the same problem on all the bands on which I am currently active (2.3, 3.4, 5.7, 10, 24, 47 and 122 GHz).

There is another issue that I should have reported.  If I am using a 340 MHz offset and type in 368900 kHz as my frequency, I don't get any display of the memory entries until I click the waterfall or refresh the screen by any method.

If I move frequency using the mouse scroll wheel, the memory entries reappear:

Hello Fernando,

because the job has not yet been done... The checkbox for S2 preselectors bypass was in the Advanced panel of the Settings window and has been move on the Main window as requested by some users. The idea is to merge this request with the one you made and have this checkbox for :
    - S2 below 54MHz : bypass the SPF-08 preselectors : to do,
    - S2 above 54MHz : bypass the internal FM/2m preselectors : done,
    - S3 below 54MHz : bypass the internal preselectors (and maybe the SPF-08 preselectors if they get supported) : to do,
    - S3 above 108MHz : bypass the Downconverter preselectors : done.

Hello Vianney,
would be very nice If the combination of S3 and external preelector would work as the number of possible filters would Intresse.
Hope that you may use the ext-io-plug to control an external preselector.
Until now the port is not documented to the public.

I cannot explain. With the EiBi database the stations were shown on SW2 screen only below 10 MHz, nothing shown above with SW2 3.49. I installed 3.50 today and I can now see all the stations of the same EiBi database from 16 kHz to 28.870 MHz !!!
Still interested by the FDM-Duo but I have to wait to order as the transportation are now in full chaos here due to Covid 19.

Hi,

there is a specific converter program for translating ANY textfile database, txt, eibi ecc... into a SW2 database or different textfile format. This converter is extracting single Record-Fields you select and placing them at any position.
You can create a specific FDM-SW2 xml database or different by Delimiter or by Position whatever is requested by your application.
There are 4 example files included. The ILG Frequency database is a classic converter example.
A textfile by Position can be converted into a by Delimiter dBase or viceversa.

The RFRScanner program is including this converter in the Sub-Folder " \Converter ".

the version 3.53 of the SW2 software is available in the Under test folder along with some release notes.

The most important changes are:
    - possibility to change the background of the spectrum and to save on file all the colors that can be set by the software,
    - added the possibility to choose whether to display 9 or 12 digits for the Advanced Tuning window,
    - improved keyboard shortcuts management (with addition of new shortcuts),
    - added the possibility to use the memories even when playing a file,
    - improved software stability for the S3.

The problem is that the TMate2 has only 9 digits. Maybe it's possible to switch to a kHz visualization when the frequency value is higher than 1GHz.
