In the FDM-SW2 program I am missing the option to set the order for the bandwidth filter ("Filter BW" in the upper right panel). I was used to this in the SDRSharp program for the Airspy HF+, where I set the filter order to 40 instead of the default.
As it is now in FDM-SW2, the filter order is fixed at a high order (I guess), like a brick-wall filter. This causes a ringing sound of frequencies around the cut-off frequency and this gives listening fatigue. It is especially bothersome with weak signals for a bandwidth of 2,75 kHz for USB and LSB and 5,5 kHz for SYNC AM. Now I often use 2,5 kHz for USB/LSB and 5 kHz for SYNC AM but this is not ideal, intelligibility suffers a bit.
This listening fatigue can be diminished by lowering the filter order and/or filter type for the bandwidth filter. Is there a way to do this? If not, I'd like Elad to consider including an option to set the filter order somewhere in the Settings panel. Thanks!

Thanks for coming back to me. I have looked at the Demod settings indeed, I can change filter bandwidth and mode, but I'm pretty sure that it is not possible to change the order of the filter (order determining the cut-off characteristics of the filter). I hope that Elad can provide an extra setting to change filter order to diminish listening fatigue.

At the moment we cant do that, I’ve emailed the programming team to see what we can do, I know you can do it in SDR# like you said and also in SDR-Console We’ll see what we can do… Have a Radiolutionary Day! Paul -- Paul Jones - Elad USA Sales & Technical Support (USA)

this is what w8rj said: Bit 7 of the TX Status
(F7 command) byte is not returning correctly. It's reversed from
what it should be.
Radio in transmit the bit should be '1', Radio in receive should
be '0'
