Thanks for your input. You are perfectly right. What I don't like is that even though the footswitch puts the DUO in TX mode (for CW, SSB, etc) until the switch is released, the relay is activated for every dot or dash when in CW mode. Maybe this is what the manual means by "Transmission is driven by the CW key" on page 19. I would prefer the PTT input to override any other PTT functionality.

It's a 2.1 mm power plug (I just measured one of mine with a gauge pin at 2.13 mm). How about something like this from Lynchy? He sells Elads as well, so can advise.

first check the GNSS Config with the u-center software, go to menu View -> Configuration View -> "GNSS (GNSS Config)" node.

Hello,

ublox M8 / 8 is displayed in GPS mode, in this firmware version you cannot
receive any GALILEO satellites, can you update the module in the FDM-S3?

I am a long time DUO user but still have an unsolved issue. Any input is very much appreciated.
I always use a foot switch for PTT when in SSB or CW mode. The switch is connected to the PTT pin in the mic connector on the rear side of the DUO. In CW mode there is a relay clicking (following the CW letters sent) all the time even though the PTT is activated by the foot switch. It sounds like a QSK relay.  It's annoying and I haven't found a way to keep the relay from clicking. Anyone knows how to keep the rig in TX mode without this relay clicking?

Why do you think they wouldn't install automatically after installing FDM-SW2? FTDI is well established so I'm surprised Windows didn't automaticall recognise the device?
