Hello,
coming back to the Lenovo computer, have you no issue as before ?
Are you using the same usb cable with both computer ? What happens if you use another usb cable, maybe

Re: SW2 FFT Resolution
Span is not the same as resolution.
Now, an option with resolution on the order of 1 Hz (spectrum & WF) really would be something for carrier offset detection/measurement!

Re: SW2 FFT Resolution
I forgot to mention that the IF SPECTRUM window span can be reduced to 187Hz.

Re: SW2 FFT Resolution
Fernando
For me the IF SPECTRUM window for each receiver gives a nice hi resolution 48.0kHz wide FFT.

SW2 FFT Resolution
Hi,
One thing that I miss in the SW2 is the possibility to set the FFT Resolution. Or have I overlooked this possibility for years?

Re: FDM-SW2 DRM No Audio
There were some threads about this issue with the new codecs last year, might be worth searching the EladSDR archive.

Re: FDM-SW2 DRM No Audio
You need a receiver that can decode the latest xHE-AAC audio format.
I'm not sure if the Elad does that yet. KiwiSDRs do.

Re: FDM DUO GAIN VARIATION
#fdm-duo
Yes, as I said, it shows to within 1dB the level I put into the -Duo. Tested at 20MHz, but there's no reason it should be wildly different at other frequencies.

Thank you for the suggestions. It confirms that my Duo is not performing correctly as you both report the rig to be stable. Andy, does your Duo indicate the level correctly from a signal generator?

FDM DUO GAIN VARIATION
#fdm-duo
Has anyone had experience of this please.
Power up on 40m. Inject a signal into either ant port at a level of -73dbm S9. S meter reads S7 -80dbm or sometimes S6. After a short time S meter drops to S2

Re: Gain Variations
Agreed
I always use it standalone, and display power level rather than S value. Always found, at least with a carrier, its within a dB accuracy and always stable.
Can't say the same for noise
