Hello,

The message "Font 'DejaVu Sans Mono' does not support style 'Regular'." means that you have some problems with  the "DejaVu Sans Mono" font in your PC. Please re-install the DejaVu Sans Mono font and try running again the software.

Regards,
Donald - ELAD team

I've not heard that. I've heard migraine sufferers say it didn't work for them. If it works it beats taking meds and waiting in a dark room for hours.

Just got my ELAD FDM-S2 and already frustrated

jfh9279@...

I just received and installed my ELAD FDM-S2. The installation seemed to go OK, but when I try to run the software, I get an immediate Microsoft.NET Framework error that kills the app.

This is the error I get:

If I click continue I get the little Launch Box

But if I then click anything (like GO) I get the same exact error message again and then the software crashes/

Very frustrating.

Not a good start ELAD...

Does the white out happen if you expand the color spectrum back to normal?

I widened the spectrum to maximum and tried it in a few different settings and it made no difference.

Displaying Station Names When Playing Back Files

Richard Langley

Dear Elad Team:
It seems that when one plays back a recorded RF file, the station names displayed over the spectrum (say from an SWSkeds file) are not appropriate. The names displayed are for the current time and not for the time the file was recorded. This means that currently this dispaly feature only seems to work properly for real-time listening. Would it be possible for it to work with recorded files too?
Thanks.

Re: EIBI Database into FDM-SW

Henry

The EIBI problem came up when EIBI introduced the line
9805;1230-1300;-4Apr;ALG;Radio Amazigh;KB;NAf;/IW;6;3103;0404
some time ago. The SW1 does not like the "-4Apr" as a day of week.
The SW2 soft (B eta 1.75) does not care. It loads without problems.
Remove the expression "-4Apr" or replace it by something like "1234567"
9805;1230-1300;1234567;ALG;Radio Amazigh;KB;NAf;/IW;6;3103;0404
and the list will load.

The SWSKEDS problem has the same cause. Dan replaced "-4Apr" with "to Apr 4" which also made the SW2 stumble. Now in his latest csv SWSKEDS has changed this to "-Apr 4" and the list loads again. The SW2 soft (and even more the SW1) is very peculiar about false weekday spellings (e. g. weekdays having more than 7 characters).
