The downconverter was installed this morning. There are two issues that need to be looked at. (1) the USBC cord is too stiff. (2) The two screws at the front of the down converter stick up too high , not allowing the top cover to be installed. I removed the screws and ground down the tops of the screws and removed the washers. That fixed the problem. I think it needs screws with flat heads, which should fix the problem.
Other than that the installation went well and now I can hear above 108 MHz.
