Tweetsie Park.
The movie you're thinking of was "October Sky" set in 1950's Coalwood, WV. It was based on Homer Hickum's book "The Rocket Boys". Great movie. The 4501 was lettered Norfolk & Western for authenticity.

JC has most of the chain hotels represented. I'd suggest the Red Roof Inn there.....it looks acceptable from the interstate......but that's primarily because I have their membership card and earn cred
