The very next article. I have already turned in articles on the 4-6, the 7, and the little 8. The series will cover all the NG engines.

new NGSL Gazette article
Johnny,
read your great NGSL Gazette article on the consolidations with my coffee this morning. Very informative, especially for an ET&WNC novice like me. Well done!

Re: Krause photo?
Mike,
Please email me directly as I'm interested in a print of both photos.
As for ETSU archives, I haven't tried as I suspect the negative is in private hands..

Re: Krause photo?
I was able to snag two of Krause’s large format negatives. One was unpublished and the other was the negative of the photo below. Lee, let me know if I can help.

Re: Krause photo?
The Krause stuff got split up piecemeal and scattered to the four winds. You’d have to see if anyone knows who got the negative(s). Not an easy task, I’m afraid.

THIS is the photo I'm looking for. I want a large format print off the negative if at all possible. Can anyone tell me who to ask for that?

I revealed that the Linville River Shay still existed in Along the ET&WNC Volume 1 in January 2001. Wow, nearly 20 years ago.

Re: More random photos
Brian,
See the black square on the pump? That was used for prices. Its totally blank as would be correct for WW2.
"NO GAS" signs wouldn't be seen much at gas stations by then as rationing was well in
