Re: Smoke shots on the layout, with ET&WNC rolling stock of course!
Smoke looks good. That said would the loco be working as hard as it enters the siding in the first picture? Just a thought.

Smoke shots on the layout, with ET&WNC rolling stock of course!
I’ve been experimenting with some photos after changing the structure I use to represent smoke from locomotives in photos. It had been covered in cotton balls, but now I stretched foam pillow

Re: Photos from the Doe River Gorge--Vida Division
Incredible. Thanks so much. I really like the shot of the bridge right outside the tunnel. That is doable on my O scale layout and that picture is being saved for future planning. In O scale I can do

A visitor from Middle Earth
Gandalf has come to the Doe River Gorge. He has promised to never utter the words, "You cannot pass!" while a train is in the Gorge.

The artisans work indoors, sort of ,on the Linville depot.
The hard-working North Carolina artisan’s have gone indoors to hang paneling windows and the start of shelving. At least they’re indoors, sort of,because this little building still lacks a roof.

These artisans need to cool off with their beverage of choice. I’ll buy first round for them!
That looks splendid. Thanks for sharing the updates .
