John Brenneman

Walked up Leona from Keller 10 am to 11;30 this morning. Needed to park on Campus Dr. as trail use parking lot is now locked, not a problem. Air alive with birdsong, multiple birds singing from both sides of trail most of the time. Most numerous were Orange-crowned Warbler, Wilson's Warbler, Warbling Vireo, Hutton's Vireo,Song Sparrow, with occasional Townsend's Warbler, Ruby Crowned Kinglet(not singing). Saw bush-tits going in their nest 2 or more rustling around in there. 3 Allen's Hummingbirds. In short a great morning in spite of all the hikers and their dogs.
