Red-breasted Sapsucker - Eagleridge Park, Antioch - 1017

Paul Schorr

This morning during a much-needed walk on a beautiful autumn day with a slight breeze, we enjoyed excellent views of a FOS Red-breasted Sapsucker drilling sap wells in a tree at the north end of Eagleridge Park. Additional noteworthy sightings included:

Red-breasted Nuthatches - several seen and heard
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - several
Audubon's Warbler - numerous

Eagleridge Park is located at the intersection of Greystone and Eagleridge Drives in Antioch.

Good birding,

Paul Schorr
