Pleasant Hill migrants; FOS Yellow warblers

Alan Bade

Here's a quick addition to the Contra Costa migrants; we just had two FOS yellow warblers foraging furiously for half an hour or so in our mature camphor trees, tall silvertip maple, the neighbors' magnolia, and our tall Valley oak. They seemed to be either immature males or adult females. We watched them go back and forth in the trees, chow down on on a bunch of insects, and then they were gone.
