Today mid afternoon there was a Northern Pintail, possibly a female, associating with the Mallards near the culvert that is seen from the trail that goes from the Meeker Slough bridge behind the condos to Marina Bay parkway. The duck was refound later foraging with large shorebirds at the back of the marsh west of the bridge, seen from the lawn overlook.

Yesterday there was one Green winged Teal in the Slough behind condos near Mallards. The teal had three bright Spotted Sandpipers for company foraging along the bank.

High tide both days.

Also of note today 16 Snowy Egrets most on the island near the culvert others nearby.
