Heather Farm Park, Grasshopper Sparrow continues

~11am, the GRASSHOPPER SPARROW popped up from grassy ground cover
and perched near the top of a small patch of willow next to the community
garden fence. There it remained for 3 to 4 minutes. This spot lies just south of the
paved path near the southwest corner of the natural pond, the same general area in
which the bird has been seen a few times since its discovery on Nov. 22.

Finding the bird requires but a modicum of patience as it seems to confine its
movements within an area of 500 to 600 sq. ft.

Good birding, all.
