Coyote Hills today...

Field trip with my 3rd grade daughter’s class. Highlight was an adult BALD
EAGLE flying in circles fairly low over the ponds across the street from
the visitor center slowly making its way east. Even those without binocs
could see well enough and enjoy its majestic glory. I’ll never tire of
seeing these. A few flocks of WHITE PELICANS circling over and over again
over the same ponds. Otherwise mostly local interest:
Scrub jay

Golden crowned sparrow

Marsh wren

Rudy Duck

Northern shoveler

Black phoebe

American coot

Song sparrow

Sora (heard only)

White-tailed kite

American kestrel

Turkey Vulture
