Check Fennel Patches
Alexander Henry
This morning there was a Palm Warbler and a Grasshopper Sparrow (surprisingly very rare as fall migrant along East Bay shore north of Bay Bridge) in fennel patches around the Burrowing Owl habitat plateau at McLaughlin State Park Albany Access / Albany Bulb. If you have some time this afternoon might be worth heading over there, or to your favorite local fennel/shrubby area migrant traps along the Bay, seems to be a decent day for stuff moving through. Also Orange-crowned and Yellow Warblers were around.

Palm warbler continues near NW corner of plateau at Albany Bulb. Sent from my mobile - please forgive typos and idiosyncratic capitalization.
