Vollmer Peak continuing Green-tailed Towhee + MacGillivray's Warbler

Horacio & Mona Mena

The green-tailed towee was present in the location described (bench on the Seaview Tail) at 1pm on Sunday 11/12.
The bird was on the downhill side and got to about 5 ft of us near the paved rd.

The previously reported Green-tailed Towhee was foraging with juncos and Spotted Towhees at 7:45 this morning next to the bench on the Seaview Trail on Vollmer Peak in Tilden Park. Others reported seeing it briefly at about 8:30. There was also a relatively cooperative MacGillivray's Warbler on the left of the spur trail to the summit just after it splits from the Seaview Trail. Happy birding,
