Yellow-throated Warbler

Bob Richmond

It was along Beach Street on Bay Farm Island in Alameda in eucalyptus trees by the golf course. It was first seen at 2:20 in a eucalyptus opposite 346 Beach Street and then flew to a eucalyptus tree opposite 350 Beach Street. This is the second county record. The first was in 1985 when it was a CBRC review species. It was accepted. I sent it to e-bird as a historical record but it was not accepted for reasons unknown.

I am having trouble adding it to e-bird. Anybody else having this problem?

Hi Bob,
I just tried on my phone and I had no problem. I typed in the four code,
YTWA, and I was given a prompt to search the entire data base. I hit the
prompt and the species came up. Congratulations on finding a very nice
rarity.
