This morning at ArdenwoodRP a group of us saw a White-throated Sparrow in a mixed flock, and heard the song of an Olive-sided Flycatcher FOS.

This species normally begins its migration from the wintering grounds
(Brazil) at the end of March.

Earliest arrivals in San Diego County are 15 April. In Riverside County 22
April. In Santa Clara County 9 April. In Monterey County 7 April. Earliest
in Sonoma County is 19 April (average 1 May).

Earliest reported arrival in the state appears to be 31 March in Santa Cruz
county.
