2011 Alameda County Big Year
2011 was a great year for Alameda County. I had followed the EBB reports through out the year and recorded 311 species. As far as I know this is probably the most species found within a year in the county. And out of 311 species, I photographed 218 of them at various locations in Alameda County in 2011.
I would like to thank all EBB members for your postings which help me immensely to find and photograph so many species. Hope we will have an even better 2012. I have created a slide show with all 218 species that I photographed (in order of appearance by National Geographic's 'Field Guide To The Birds Of North America'): http://www.flickr.com/photos/jerryting/sets/72157625759435976/show/ The detailed image information and all 311 species are listed in: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jerryting/sets/72157625759435976/ Happy Birding, Jerry Ting |

Jerry, once again you have done some awesome work, and inspired me to toss
my cameras into a lake and take up knitting. Well done! On Thu, Jan 5, 2012 at 11:07 PM, jtnikon <jtnikon@...> wrote: ** -- Chuq Von Rospach - http://www.chuqui.com (chuqvr@...; chuqui@...; Twitter: @chuq) [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
