Could I have seen a Zone-tailed Hawk?
Coming home from work tonight I watched a very dark solid colored hawk with yellow legs drop down in the ditch along 580 in Livermore. When it flew back up out of the ditch I could see light coloring

Chukars in Berkeley!?
Several people have taken photos recently of Chukars wandering the streets of Berkeley and Albany. Have these been spotted here before, and does anyone have any idea where they came from?
